Happy MLK Day!
Today is a very special day where the world recognizes Martin Luther King, Jr for his strength, courage and flight for being an activist, humanitarian and a leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. Through MLK’s activism, he played a big role in ending the legal segregation of African-American citizens in the South and other areas of the nation.
MLK Fact: MLK created the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
