I recently participated in a Play Golf Designs Inc. (PGD) golf shootout in Las Vegas at the Revere Golf Club! The Event was for the Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC) & the Retail Gift Card Association (RGCA) and this is the second year PGD and I have hosted their golf tournament!
The event started with registration and lunch followed by a fun meet and greet with me:) This was a favorite part of my day because I get to gift all the players with my “Seema Sparkle” ball markers. This year everyone received my credit card ball marker called “Check Please” I thought it was the most appropriate considering it is a Money 20/20 event!
FUN FACT: “Money20/20 organizes the largest global events enabling payments and financial services innovation for connected commerce at the intersection of mobile, retail, marketing services, data and technology. With 10,000+ attendees, including more than 1,000 CEOs, from over 3,000 companies and 75 countries, expected at its 2015 U.S. event, Money20/20 is critical to realizing the vision of disruptive ways in which consumers and businesses manage, spend and borrow money.”
The shootout was a shotgun start and I was stationed on Hole 2, Par 4 hitting drives for all the groups. I usually help some of the players with their golf swings and give them simple swing thoughts to help their game throughout the day. I also played Michael Jackson music for all the players so that they have fun and feel relaxed while hitting their tee shots! I was surprised what MJ jams can do to everyone’s swing and tempo, I saw a lot of great tee shots!
FASHION TIP: I am wearing my red skinny jeans and a cute long sleeve Forever 21 sweater with frills on the bottom of my sleeves and the bottom of the top. The look is paired with my all white FootJoy shoes and white Titleist visor. I accessorized with my “Touchdown” Seema Sparkle ball marker and pretty Fendi ribbon in my hair.
Thank you Money 20/20, IGCC & RGCA for all the fun the last two years! Looking forward to another successful 2016 Shootout!
