The Inaugural 2014 Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational was so much fun! The #CWLVI took place on July 20-22, 2014 and was a complete blast! I can’t even begin to explain to you all the fun the guests, sponsors, partners and most importantly Coach Michael Woodson and his beautiful wife Terri Woodson had at the #CWLVI!
I would like to start off by thanking Mike Woodson aka “Tiger Woodson” for giving my sister Nisha and our company Play Golf Designs Inc. the opportunity to run and coordinate the #CWLVI! Coach is a dear friend of ours and we are very fortunate to have a great friend and mentor in our lives.
I would like to thank all of our sponsors, Zacapa Rum, Land Rover Las Vegas, COX Communications, VYB-X, The McCallan, Hope & Grace Wine, Sean John, Ciroc, Casamiga Tequila and Sprite! To the charity, Nations of Coaches we couldn’t have asked for a better charity to work with their mission to strive to see coaches, their families and all those whom they influence powerfully impacted.
To my co-hosts Jay Harris and Brian McKnight, you guys are the best! Jay, it was a blast announcing all the celebrities at the Ciroc Pairings Party with you! Oh, and Jay, congrats on your Hole-In-One and winning a Range Rover!
Brian, you are incredible, the crowd loved your performance and they are still talking about it! “Do I ever Cross Your Mind…Anytime!” Also, special thanks to your MC and comedian George Wilborn and legendary saxophonists Mike Philips and Paul Taylor, you guys are incredibly talented!

SEEMA STYLE FASHION: I wore some really cute dresses during the event! At the opening dinner I wore a neon yellow BCBG gown that I must say, was one of my favorite dresses and looks! To top off the light and bright look, I paired my gown with a hot reddish/orange lipstick from MAC to keep the #CWLVI Seema Style neon pop look:) The following day at the Ciroc Pairings party I wore a fitted off the shoulder purple dress designed by one of favorite designers Catherine Malandrino! The dress was the perfect fit and look for such a special evening!
FUN FACT: Coach Woodson is known as a man of accountability, sportsmanship, as well as an advocate for player and personal development. He founded The Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational to create a special summer experience for basketball coaches, players and enthusiasts. The three-day destination brings together Coach Woodson’s friends, family, coaches, players and colleagues together!
