Hi Golfing Buddies,
I recently attended the Caddies 4 Cure (C4C) golf event in Portland, Oregon. C4C started back in 2002 as an informal father and son golf tournament. The event supports and brings awareness to the Oregon and Southwest Washington chapter of the National MS Society and Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.
“We annually host A Night To Chip In, an evening featuring a live and silent auction, casino games, and celebrity guests, and the Celebrity Golf Classic, where each foursome is joined by a celebrity golfer. In 2013, we added a new event to kick-off the weekend, the Friday-night Celebrity Bowling Challenge at Big Al’s at Progress Ridge.” ~Caddies 4 Cure
My sister Nisha and I both attended and supported the star studded Caddies 4 Cure event together! When we landed, we were both excited to be greeted by our new friend Joe who took us to a Nike shopping spree at the Nike Employee Store! #LoveShopping! We both purchased 
all the latest and hottest Nike workout gear, track suits, and shoes!
The next day all the celebrities at the event got together for a breakfast and a round of golf at the Portland Golf Club! Nisha and I played with our besties Jay Harris and Mike Hill! We had so much fun and had an incredible match Nisha and Jay vs Seema and Mike and I am proud to say, my partner Mike and I won! Woo hoo!

The eventing before the big pro-am day, an “A Night To Chip In” event is held at the Tiger Woods Center! All the sponsors, celebrities and staff attend, walk the red carpet and enjoy each others company, bid on auction goodies, meet and greet with your golf team all while supporting a great cause! The event and live auction was MC’d by the funny and charismatic actor, director and writer Alfonso Ribeiro! #FreshPrinceofBelAir! It was so great to meet him, his beautiful wife Angela and his adorable baby boy AJ!
The next morning was the official pro-am day at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club! I had the most amazing time with the Nike guys in my group, Shane, KB, Travis and Brad! We had two of the cutest caddies Bradly and Dylan spend the day and entertain us with
their funny little personalities! On one of the holes they had a Korbel Champagne Cork Challenge where all the celebrities had to shake the champagne and shoot the cork to see who’s went the furthest. Congrats to Mr. Pee Wee Harrison for winning the challenge!
Caddies 4 Cure continues to grow every year into one of golf’s national and premiere charity events in the Northwest and I am honored to be a part of it! The event brings great people together to support an amazing cause and I look forward to attending C4C next year!
