The 90’s was my decade!
When I head onto the golf course, I find myself slipping on my headphones and jamming out to TLC, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Madonna and of course Michael Jackson!
Who doesn’t love watching red carpet events and fashion shows? I get a lot of inspiration from the artists and models that create and work the runway! Recently, I noticed and was excited to see dark-matte lips making a comeback! I have always been a fan of wearing dark lip shades on and off the golf course!
LIP TIP: Lip liners are great tools for the perfect lipstick application and look. You can line, shape, shade and highlight your lips with a lip liner before applying lipstick to give your lips that desired “fuller” look!
My two favorite, powerful and beautiful women in the 90’s are Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell. Both women exude elegance and confidence while paving the way for most super models to step into the fashion and beauty industry.
FUN FACT: Darker shades of lipsticks seemed popular amongst women in the 90s. The trend continued until early 2000s.
I’d call the 90’s a “grunge glam” era. “Clueless”, one of my favorite movies of all time, is a great example of how 90’s fashion was made popular. Everyone wanted the look of Cher and Dion! They set so many trends for their generation and now they are making a comeback!
