It is important to give back in your community and support local causes to make your community better! I am playing in the Dr. Bower Golf Classic on Saturday November 23, 2013 at Black Mountain Golf and Country Club to support the School-Based Health Center (SBHC) at Basic high School.
The Dr. Joel and Carol Bower School-Based Health Center was founded in 2004 as a partnership between Nevada State College School of Nursing and Basic High School to address significant unmet health needs of Henderson children. The health center serves Henderson school children ages 4-19. They provide services like immunizations, emergency care, chronic disease management, physicals and health education for the kids. This is something that I am very proud to be a part of!
The tournament format is a 4 Person Scramble with a 9am Shotgun Start. One of my jobs is to pick the best and worst dressed teams! How fun is that? I will also be challenging all the participants to a POWER DRIVE CHALLENGE where you can win Silent Auction Dollars!
“We are so excited to have a professional golfer support the Dr. Bower Open Golf Classic. Seema Sadakar, The Golf Fashionista, an LPGA Symetra Tour Pro and former UNLV Women’s Golf Team Member, will be part of the fun! Come out for Seema’s tips during her putting clinic and challenge her to the POWER DRIVE Contest on the longest Par 5!”
