Hi Purple Lovers,
Last week I did a photo shoot for Golf and Leisure Magazine, one of golf’s most insightful and fun magazines in Las Vegas. Next issue I will have a three page spread giving you the inside scoop on golf and fashion winter tips!
Here is one of my favorite purple dresses I chose to wear for the photo shoot. Purple is one of my favorite colors. Here is a fun purple fact: In the ancient world, purple was the color worn by Roman Emperors and magistrates, and later by Roman Catholic bishops. Since that time, purple has been commonly associated with royalty and piety. #ROYALTY!
Getting ready for a photo shoot isn’t all that easy. Making sure that your make-up is perfect, your hair is sound and your legs are perfectly shiny isn’t as easy as it sounds. I want to share with you my three products I used to get #FAB before this shoot!
1. Gloss: Gloss is key to making your smile look bright and shiny! Essence Cosmetics’ Stay With Me long lasting lipglosses are so much fun and last forever. From their selection, I used Me & My IceCream, it really does taste like strawberry ice-cream, FYI!
2. Hair: My Chi Hair Straightener is my go-to for no frizzies during a photo shoot. I use it to make my hair perfectly smooth and straight! I love my Chi and will never do a shoot without using it!
3. Legs: If you haven’t tried it yet, you must try EOS Shave Cream! In addition to making your lips smooth and silky, EOS shaving cream products smell like candy and make your legs soft and smooth! The sun can pick up any flaw during an outdoor shoot, so it is important to make sure your legs are smooth going in! As you can see, my legs look shiny and smooth, an absolute must for a photo shoot outdoors.
GLOVE: I want to give Glove It a special shout out for my sparkly purple glove, it matched perfectly with my dress and accented my glam golf look!
SHOES: My special purple two-tone golf shoes that my #bestie Ann Cain worked with me to design are so amazing. They are so comfortable and go great with an all white or all black outfit too. I was happy to pair them with this one-of-a-kind dress and complete the look!
