During my unforgettable years competing at UNLV, my team and I won 3 Mountain West Conference Championships! We had numerous team and individual NCAA wins too, there was a lot of talent. During my time on the team, we practiced at Anthem Country Club, Dragon Ridge Country Club, Legacy Golf Club and Boulder Creek. I still love to play at each of those Las Vegas courses because they bring back great memories!
My teammates were Hwanhee Lee, Young Pak, Elena Kurakowa, Grace Woo, DaSol Chung, and Me:) We are all still great friends and often reflect on the memories we shared together as a team!
Our team uniforms were made by Nike, they were the official UNLV apparel sponsor. Coach Missy Ringler would let us choose our outfits from the Collegiate catalog, so our team made sure we wore the most vibrant/colorful outfits and separate ourselves from the rest of the teams:)
It is great to see the UNLV girls out practicing around town, I hope UNLV Women’s Golf continues to achieve success and bring home more Championships! Go Team!
